Transport
*Please note that Thalys doesn’t run to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 February 2023. For those who plan to travel by train on those days, please check your train information.
[From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport & Schiphol Rail Station to the venue]
The Schiphol train station is located right underneath the Schiphol Plaza at the Amsterdam Schiphol airport.
By car: Follow the A4 past Schiphol. At the junction after the bridge-restaurant and patrol station, head toward Leiden West/The Hague Centrum (A44). Take exit 6 to Noordwijk (Noordwijk/Voorhout/Oegstgeest). Turn right at the end of the exit, toward Noordwijk, then follow the road along the canal, and stay straight toward the traffic lights in Voorhout. Turn left at the next traffic light (before Noordwijk – Gooweg/Herenweg). Turn right at the 2nd roundabout (Beeklaan), and at the next roundabout keep straight. Keep straight through the 3rd roundabout, and at the 4th roundabout you will see the Alexander hotel.
The hotel has ample parking spaces available and parking fees per car is 15 EUR per day.
By taxi: the CDDF encourages meeting participants to use public transportation in order to reduce our environmental impacts on the planet. To ensure a more environmentally responsible event, the CDDF will only organise shared shuttle taxis from Schiphol airport to the Annual Conference venue (no individual taxis). If you selected one of the dates for taxi booking via the registration form, the CDDF will contact you closer to the conference date in order to collect your flight/train details. After receiving your travel information, the CDDF will assign you to one of the shuttles according to your arrival time. If you haven’t selected taxi booking in the registration process or wish to change the date you selected, please contact the CDDF office (giorgia@cddf.org) as soon as possible.

The CDDF has arranged a bus transport for all our meeting participants from the venue to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport on Wednesday 8 February 2023 at 13:10PM. To use the bus service, please make sure to come to the hotel lobby before the departure time.
