ACT EU: Collaborating with stakeholders to define priorities for clinical trials and working collectively to address them

The Cancer Drug Development Forum (CDDF) is pleased to launch a new live webinar series on “ACT EU: Advancing Clinical Trials in the European Union.” This series will highlight collaborative efforts between regulators, industry, academia, and patient representatives to shape the future of clinical trials in Europe. By showcasing current initiatives and strategic priorities, the series aims to foster dialogue, share best practices, and identify collective solutions to key challenges in clinical research.

The first webinar in the series, “Collaborating with stakeholders to define priorities for clinical trials and working collectively to address them,” introduced the objectives of ACT EU and explored how multi-stakeholder engagement is helping to define priorities and drive meaningful change. The session featured presentations by Marianne Lunzer (Austrian Medicines Agency) and Laura Pioppo (EMA). A discussion moderated by Fergus Sweeney (CDDF) and Rosa Giuliani (CDDF) followed.

The webinar took place on 15 December 2025 at 16:00 CET
