This is a disclosure report regarding direct/indirect conflicts of interest of a financial, functional or any other nature related to commercial and non-commercial organizations.

Commercial organizations with actual/potential/perceived conflict of interest of a financial/functional/any other nature

  • In the last 3 years I have received Honoraria for attending advisory boards from Novartis, BMS, Ellipses, Immunocore, Genmab, Astex Therapeutics, MSD, Nerviano, Incyte, Cybrexa, Benevolent AI and Sanofi Aventis.
  • I have received honoraria for working as an IDMC member for Alligator Biosciences, GSK, Onxeo, SOTIO Biotech AG, Pharmamar, and AstraZeneca
  • I have been paid for delivery of educational talks or chairing educational meetings by AstraZeneca, Novartis, Bayer, MSD and BMS.

Non-commercial organizations with actual/potential/perceived conflict of interest of a financial/functional/any other nature

  • My employing institution (Newcastle University) holds patents relating to rucaparib, and I have received additional income from Newcastle University under their “rewards to inventors” scheme
  • From 1st September 2025 I am under a service level agreement to work partly for NHS England as National Clinical Lead for Cancer Drugs
  • From 1st October 2025 I took up the role of Managing Director for the Cancer Drug Development Forum, (a not-for-profit organisation based in Brussels) reimbursed on an hourly consultancy rate.
