🔔📢 CDDF’s New Board Announcement: Welcoming Dr. Agnes Saint-Raymond and Ms. Jana Pelouchova
The Cancer Drug Development Forum (CDDF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Agnes Saint-Raymond and Ms. Jana Pelouchova to its Board of Directors. We look forward to collaborating with these distinguished individuals, whose expertise will strengthen CDDF’s commitment to bringing balanced, multi-stakeholder perspectives together to improve cancer treatments for patients.
🔴 WHO ARE THE NEW BOARD MEMBERS?
Dr. Agnès Saint-Raymond, a paediatrician, joined the European Medicines Agency (EMA) in 2000, becoming Head of Medicines Development and implementing the European Orphan Drug Regulation while being involved in the adoption and implementation of the Paediatric Regulation. She later led EMA’s Portfolio Board and International Affairs divisions before retiring in September 2021.
Ms. Jana Pelouchova was diagnosed with leukemia in 2002, which transformed her professional career into voluntary patient advocacy. At the national level, she became founder of a blood cancer support organisation and has served on the Patient Board of the Czech Ministry of Health. For 20 years, she has supported patients on a daily basis, running a telephone helpline, moderating online forums, and organising educational seminars.
