CDDF [name of event] – Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Periods:
- Early Cancellation: If you wish to cancel your participation in [Event Name], you must notify us at least 14 days prior to the event start date to receive a full refund.
- Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 10 days of the event’s start date will be subject to a 50% refund.
- No-Refund Cancellation: Cancellations made within one week (7 days) of the event’s start date are not eligible for a refund.
- DDR Charge: Participants who cancel within one week (7 days) of the event’s start date will be charged with the DDR (Daily Delegate Rate) to cover costs incurred. CDDF may, at its sole discretion, decide not to apply the DDR charge if the participant can justify the cancellation for medical reasons.
Refund Process:
- Refunds for cancellations will be processed within 14 business days after receiving the cancellation request.
- Refunds will be issued using the same method of payment used for the original transaction.
Non-Attendance:
No refunds will be provided for participants who do not attend the event without prior notification.
Event Cancellation:
In the unlikely event that [Event Name] is canceled by the organizers, participants will receive a full refund of any fees paid.
Change of Participant:
If you are unable to attend [Event Name] but wish to send a substitute participant in your place, please notify us at least 7 days prior to the event start date.
Travel Grants:
Participants who benefit from a travel grant and cancel within one week from the event will not be reimbursed for travel expenses. Exceptions may be considered for medical reasons, provided a valid medical certificate is provided.
Force Majeure:
We reserve the right to modify or cancel [Event Name] in the event of any circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or government restrictions. In such cases, we will make every effort to notify participants as soon as possible and provide alternative arrangements or refunds where applicable.
