The Cancer Drug Development Forum – CDDF is the platform for all stakeholders involved in the development of cancer drugs.

On 4 July 2024, CDDF participated in a stakeholder presentation focused on critical use-cases at Multi-Stakeholder Platform (MSP) Advisory Group meeting. The session aimed to identify and discuss real-world challenges faced by stakeholder groups within the European clinical trials landscape.

CDDF’s proposed topic, “Enabling CTIS Public Data Use,” was selected for presentation by Fergus Sweeney, a CDDF Board Member. The presentation delved into key challenges and possible actions related to enabling public data use from the Clinical Trials Information System (CTIS) for patients and healthcare professionals/researchers.

CDDF acknowledges the excellent work by EMA to update the CTIS transparency requirements and launch these in CTIS as of 18 June 2024 when data on 4,000 trials was made available and is now being updated on an ongoing basis.
